We believe that through our work we can empower individuals to improve their physical, emotional and mental well-being and enable them to fully participate in and contribute to the communities they live in.  To facilitate this work and meet the growing demand for our services we are looking for donors and funders…

Types of projects we invest in

• Every week a number of therapists offer their treatments free of charge on various wards at the Royal Sussex County Hospital as well as the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital. This work aims primarily at the relief of suffering to those in immediate need. For some this means help with relaxation, anxiety or depression, for others it can be support with poor breathing, regaining strength or recovering mobility
• Since ActiveLightworks came into being in 2006 we have worked with many of the community organisations in the Brighton & Hove’s Community Voluntary Sector: Mind, Rise, Brighton Women’s Centre, Stroke Association, The ClockTower Sanctuary, Spin, WHINN, The Bridge Education and Community Centre, Dementia Together, Amaze, the Carers Centre.
• We have provided many Pamper Days at schools across Brighton & Hove offering treatment that resulted in much needed reduction in stress levels and absenteeism amongst staff.

Our donation processes

• Our online donation facility is run by Charity Choice, which means that no bank charges are levied against any donations made
• We are happy to discuss setting up a regular donation through bank accounts with you or your organisation directly.
• We claim gift aid on everything possible. If you are a UK taxpayer please complete the gift aid form when sending in a donation to help us maximize your donation.
