KRISTINE

I am the Chair of the Trustees in Active LightWorks

During my life, I have trained in a number of complementary therapies including Holistic Interior Design, Feng Shui, Allergy Therapy, Nutrition and Reiki. My qualifications; BA ATC MAR ITEC also include a BA from Birmingham College of Art and I am qualified to teach in further and adult education. For the last 20 years I have taught reflexology to post graduate level and have a practice in Brighton. I have served on the Council of the Association of Reflexologists and  my book on Hand reflexology is in its second edition.
My first employment was as a craft teacher in day centres for mentally and physically challenged adults. In the world of business I have been manageress of Clothkits, in Lewes, a Director of Grapevine Graphics Ltd and Medical Insurance services Ltd.

I agreed to become a part of Active LightWorks because of the enthusiasm and energy of those already involved. I was co-opted as a Trustee knowing very little about the charity, and discovered a dedicated team of wonderful people doing a marvelous job. It is an honour to join this project, and a project I have dreamt about for the last 20 years: the integration of complementary approaches to medicine and the education of the public on the subject of the holistic approach. As Chairman of the Trustees I look forward to understanding the many aspects of the Charity, and hope I will be able to make a positive contribution to a team who deserve every support
