My place with Active LightWorks is design and communication of our work through media.

At this point in my life there is no more time to dwell on differences and obstacles, but to create environments which support people coming together, pooling skills and resources, helping each other toward a more constructive and humane world. I’m not a therapist but I am inspired by being in this group, working together purposefully to support allopathic medicine and complimentary therapies work alongside each other, being appreciated for the benefits they can give.

I facilitate talking circles known as The Way of Council for groups and individuals interested in community and community-building practices and which encourage better communication between people for their greater harmony and well-being. I also run nine-day self-development courses and earn a living from creating books and illustration work. I have had four children’s books published.

I was almost critically injured in a car-crash 3 years ago and will continue to be utterly grateful that our NHS exists, as those services saved my life. A combination of hospital care and complimentary therapy after my release from hospital has allowed me not only to live, but to continue to live well.
